A new QuadCopeter by Hoverthings

A new QuadCopeter by Hoverthings

One of the newest forms of our hobby is the quad-copter that we are starting to see advertised more and more. Until recently I had not seen one in person and was only familiar with the advertisements in the magazines. However, at a recent helicopter fun fly hosted by the SPARKS of St. Petersburg, Florida I had a chance to meet Paul Baxter, owner and developer of the QuadCopter. Paul had one of his VC-450 Quads on hand for close-up look in flight demos. This is a much more sophisticated machine than I had imagined. Advanced electronics design by Paul, brushless motors and a Lipo battery pack made this a state of the art device.

Since these QuadCopter’s are getting to be more popular I’ll have to learn more about them and keep you informed of their continuing progress. Right now you can go to Paul’s website, www.hoverthings.com, and learn more about his products.

  3. I have purchases four Quad from Paul Baxter and they all fly very well. I did however broke a few prop, but I can only blame that on myself. He have just build a smaller version that he call the Flip, I got three of those and are showing them off at our indoor fun fly in eastern Canada. They are Quick and fun to fly.
