Carl Doherty from Blaine, WA, built this Speed 400 L-19 Bird Dog from plan #FSP0802B. Carl said it’s powered by a Speed 400 motor and flew fine with very good control on the first flight. However, the motor connection failed over a small pond. “I will say it floated extremely well, even drifting to shore to my outstretched hand,” Carl writes.
