Top Gun Half-Time Show

The annual Top Gun Scale competition held in Lakeland, FL, is not only about upper level world class scale competition. Frank Tiano, the event’s originator also gives several sponsors from the hobby industry center stage to help promote exciting products and unusual planes to the general public during the half-time show. This year the JR “Candy Machine” was used during the airshow to drop several pounds of candy to hundreds of kids waiting below.

Hobby Lobby International (hobby-lobby.com) sells the 12-foot Telemater ARF. It was powered by a DL-50 twin cylinder gas burner (dlusa.net).
