A Speedy Electric Sportster Perfect for Club-Level Pylon Racing

Equally at home as a sport flyer or as a serious racer, E-flite’s LR-1A Pogo was designed specifically for the NMPRA’s new EF1 electric pylon racing class. This tribute to the Goodyear racers from the past offers an affordable, less intimidating airplane for pilots in pursuit of the checkered flag. It’s constructed of lightweight materials and features a low parts count, making the Pogo an exceptionally easy-to-assemble ARF. Adding to its great looks are a one-piece fiberglass cowl and included pilot figure.

·         Requires a single aileron servo, making for a lower completion cost

·         Easy transport thanks to two-piece plug-together wing

·         Easy access to the flight battery through lightweight canopy hatch

West Coast senior editor About me: I’ve been involved with RC aircraft since high school and have flown just about everything. I started my RC career with scratch-building, but now like many pilots I rely on ARFs to get me in the air. My main focus is on pylon racing, aerobats, combat and scale warbirds.
