Pantera P6 Build and Review

Apr 25, 2011 3 Comments by

Audacity Models  (genesishobby.com) has just released their new Pantera P6 50 size nitro helicopter, which I will be building and reviewing here as well as in Model Airplane News magazine. Here are a couple of pics of the new helicopter still in the box just so you can get a quick idea of what it will look like. I still have to get the servos, gyro and other needed components together to complete the project, so it will be a few days until the build starts. However, if you have any immediate questions or comments, please let me know.

Unfortunately this build is going a little slower than I anticipated. The Hitec servos I would like to use are on backorder, and the new Thunder Tiger 56H engine will not be released till the end of the month. However, I will start basic construction soon and keep you informed of how it’s going and include some pictures of the process. In the meantime if you should have any questions or comments about any specific part of the helicopter or support equipment I would like to hear from you.
