How To Install RC Hinges–Video

Jul 02, 2011 2 Comments by

More and more RC modelers are learning about the fun and challenge of building RC planes from kits. ARFs make good pilots, but wood kits make good builders. Here’s a How To on the proper way to install Pinned hinges in a built-up control surface. I am using Du-Bro tools and hinges and Zap Hinge Glue.

This is nice, but Zap Hinge Glue is not sold anymore. How about re-doing the video with another glue since that’s pretty doggone important?

I know that Pacer is cutting back with adhesives because of the lack of builders in our hobby now a days Gen. But, you can swap Pacer Canopy Glue Formula 560 I believe. This is the same glue as the Hinge Glue, except it is not colored to match Balsa! No need to redo the video. If you have any questions about ZAP glue, you should contact Frank Tiano at his website franktiano.com that’s where I get my information
      cheers!
