Something different this weekend

Over the long weekend I decided to do something other than RC flying, I did of course do some flying on Monday.  My son and I did an 11-mile hike on the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) here in southern California.   For those of you who don’t know, this trail extends from Mexico all the way north to Canada, over 2,638 miles long.   This summer we are hiking Section C of the PCT, which includes 132.9 miles of the PCT.  This was the first of 11 hikes we will be on during the summer to complete section C.

West Coast senior editor About me: I’ve been involved with RC aircraft since high school and have flown just about everything. I started my RC career with scratch-building, but now like many pilots I rely on ARFs to get me in the air. My main focus is on pylon racing, aerobats, combat and scale warbirds.
