Flying around the Patch at the Warbirds over Delaware Giant Scale Fly In

So I had a chance today to take off my editor cap and put on my pilot cap at the WOD giant scale fly in! Using a hand-me-down Stearman PT-17 that Nick Ziroli Jr. gave me ( that’s 20 years old,) we set up the plane with all new servos, radio gear, fuel tank and plumbing and basically spruced it up so it was again airworthy. Nick and I made several traffic pattern passes and basically had a real good time! Even 20 plus years old, this classic military primary trainer biplane is a great flying RC giant scale plane! Watch for our video post on the WOD webpage on modelairplanenews.com

Yes that’s my GoPro Hero video camera on the top wing. We flew the pattern and shot some great video.
