2011 AMA NATS and IRCHA Jamboree

If it’s hot and the middle of August, it must be time for the AMA Nationals and the IRCHA Jamboree in Muncie, IN. The AMA NATS has flying events for all types of aircraft and helicopters, and brings together some of the best pilots and their equipment in friendly competition. The helicopter events are also scheduled to slightly overlap the start of the Jamboree so those attending can get a double dose of helicopters.

IRCHA was created in 1989 by founder Don Chapman, and has evolved into the representative body for helicopter pilots.  If you are even remotely interested in r/c helicopters, this is the place to be to see all the new equipment, the best flying, demos, seminars and instruction, and even more.

I’ll be there this coming Wednesday through Friday, reporting on all that is interesting and exciting in this hobby of ours. So stand by the MAN web site for up to date information with pictures and videos.
