Hitec X4 AC Plus charger in for review

We have a charger review coming up in Electric Flight Magazine and we were lucky enough to get in the new X4 AC charger from Hitec. I have to say they raised the bar on this one.  This compact charger has battery management and integral balancer features on each of the four identical and independent 50-watt power outputs, for a total output power of 200 watts. That means that each port of the X4 AC Plus can handle up to a 6S Lithium pack, 15 NiCd/NiMH cells or 6-12 volt lead acid batteries.  There are also four individual balancing ports you can use when charging Lithium batteries.

There is also an option for attaching the charger to an 11-15 volt DC power supply.  So far, I have to say that I am impressed with this charger and looking forward to really testing it out over the next few weeks.
