Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome — MHRCS Helps preserve the magic!

For those of you that have attended the rc Jamboree held each year in September or have frequented the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, in Rhinebeck, NY, you may be interested in the following campaign to improve the Aerodrome facilities. This canpaign is being offered by the RC Jamboree host R/C club, The Mid-Hudson RC Society.

MHRCS Matching Grant for Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome building project.

The Mid-Hudson Radio Control Society would like to announce an opportunity for you to support the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome’s drive to fund a new gift shop and modern restroom facility at their Rhinebeck, NY flying museum. The Aerodrome proposes to replace the old existing gift shop and attached model museum, with a new building, which will also include modern rest room facilities.

The Mid-Hudson Radio Control Society is offering to match, “dollar for dollar”, for donations made to the Aerodrome for this purpose by any member of the modeling community.

To take advantage of this offer, any interested persons should simply send a check to the “< ?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" ?>Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum” at P.O. Box 229, Rhinebeck, NY 12572 with “Gift Shop Project-RC Modelers” on the memo line, by April 15, 2012. The Aerodrome will report the total donated on that date to the Mid Hudson Radio Control Society and the Club will send them a check for the lesser of the total of the gifts or $3500.
