Thunder Tiger Flybarless Head

Dec 10, 2011 No Comments by

Thunder Tiger has recently released their new flybarless rotor head conversion kit for the Titan X 50 and Raptor 30/50 helicopters, both of which are available from TowerHobbies. However, be careful when ordering because each has their own stock number. Use LXBMDZ for the Titan X 50 and LXBMEA for the raptor 30/50.

Each head is all metal and comes completely assembled and ready to replace the stock head with only a few minutes work. As you can see in the photo, the newly designed rigid lightweight one-piece main rotor hub is a work of art, and the lengthened control arms on the blade grips makes the head compatible with most popular brand 3-axis gyros. Also included are enlarged titanium rods and ball linkages for rigidness and extreme pitch response to suit your flying style.

Thunder Tiger is also soon to release their new flybarless control system, which I will tell you more about as soon as I get more information.
