Yours for the taking, scans of original pen-and-ink drawings of the very first, fixed- gear Model 17 Staggerwing Beechcraft from the master, William Wylam.  Talk about a collector’s item!  How can you get one?  Just visit our new and improved Flight Journal website and download the free 3-view. While you’re there, look around; there are additional 3-views as well as great aviation news and stories.

West Coast senior editor About me: I’ve been involved with RC aircraft since high school and have flown just about everything. I started my RC career with scratch-building, but now like many pilots I rely on ARFs to get me in the air. My main focus is on pylon racing, aerobats, combat and scale warbirds.

The staggerwing has been one of my favotite planes. Thanks for supplying this. Apperently this is only the 2 pages of the original 4. Any chance of getting the other 2 or where they can be bought?

    Thank you, geoff
