ElectriFly Gee Bee R-1

This great-looking racer sports a 38.5-inch wingspan and comes with a brushless motor system and 4 microservos installed. The no-glue assembly only takes a few minutes, so you can add your 4-channel receiver and 2200mAh 3S LiPo and head to the field in minutes. The Gee Bee’s AeroCell foam construction makes it light enough for exciting flights yet tough enough to stand up to abuse. Its wheel pants are attached magnetically, so they can break away without damage in the event of a hard landing. The model costs $159.99.

I have seen this model take off and fly quite well but it seemed a bit harder to land smoothly. The RC pilot was an experience flyer. It is an interesting plane though and will most likely end up in my “hangar” of RC aircraft.
