Pilot Projects: Bower’s Fly Baby Bipe [February 2012]

Bower’s Fly Baby Bipe: Built from a Pat’s Custom Models short kit, this 1/8-scale aircraft has a 33-inch wingspan and is powered by a 370-size motor.  The 15-ounce plane is covered with Coverite Microlite film and sports Callie Graphics decals. Bob writes, “The airplane is a superb flyer with plenty of power for scale-like flight and handles breezy conditions very well. I’m so impressed with the overall appearance and performance of this design, I’m building another for a friend.”
