F-86 Micro Jet Video

Here is a small plane that packs quite a bit of power, the Great Planes F-86 Sabre Micro EDF.  This small plane has some great flying features and with AnyLink you can fly this plane with any transmitter.  Hear what Norm has to say about the F-86 and the AnyLink system.

West Coast senior editor About me: I’ve been involved with RC aircraft since high school and have flown just about everything. I started my RC career with scratch-building, but now like many pilots I rely on ARFs to get me in the air. My main focus is on pylon racing, aerobats, combat and scale warbirds.

    Good Report
R/C certainly has something for everyone .
This little F-86 is another good example of the current trend in micro size airplanes being offered today. The Any Link transmitter attachment that allows the use of different brands of transmitters is novel. This seems to offer some features that compete directly with the E-Flite line of UMX / BNF aircraft. Missing in the Great Planes micro size airplane offerings though is any stabilization system that is greatly helpful in flying micro size airplanes. The AS3X system equipped UMX line of micro size airplanes fly unbelievably well with this ‘autopilot’ system at work. You do need to have a DSM2 or DSMX (Spektrum/JR) transmitter to fly them though.
It’s a great hobby when there are so many different new airplanes and electronic systems to fly them with available at such reasonable prices.
