With a 50cc engine, 86-inch span, fully sheeted and covered with flat finish MonoKote, this F4U dominated the Hobbico/Great Planes booth at the Toledo show. This ARF has a over-built center wing section with a double sheeting of balsa with cross grain sheeting that is factory formed and fitted for a precise, extremely strong structure. This 1/5-scale Corsair has a full cockpit and scale matt decals are included.

The Corsair is about 1/5.6 scale and is designed for Robart 90-degree rotating retractable landing gear.

Includes: Matt Monokote finish, painted fiberglass parts,  pre-hinged flaps, hidden cowl attachment screws, molded in panel and cowl flap lines, dummy radial engine, strut covers for main gear, functional tail wheel doors and matt finish decals.

Features, plug in outer wing panels, one piece center wing section with internal reinforcements for retracts, all control surfaces are pre-hinges, machined spinner, authentic wheels and a display/work stand. A fiberglass tailcone and fairing and interior cockpit details with instrument panel and recessed gauges make the Corsair look amazingly real!

    This Corsair is very impressive to see up close. The only thing I would like to see changed on this plane is the tail wheel. It sits very low. A scale tail wheel would finish this plane off very well.
