Top Flite F4U Corsair review

One of the coolest looking Warbirds of WWII had to be the F4U Corsair.  With that big prop and gull wings it was a totally different looking plane from all others.  Top Flite has released its new smaller sized F4U Corsair ARF and Arron Strietzel let you know what he thought about this great looking bird.

    Interesting ARF.

    One minor pet peeve: covering with high-gloss film. Warbirds like this generally had flat finishes and the shiny film sort of bugs me.

    Another minor quibble with the review: the Corsair had an “Inverted Gull Wing”, not a “Gull Wing”. Common mistake and I know I’m being picky, but when you look at a seagull you see the logic. Not many true gull wings – the Polish PZL 11 is one, and the B-25 is a surprising example, as well as a few sailplanes and flying boats.
