Brian O’Meara built this amazing P-47 from an RCSAC kit (RC Scale All Composite) and is flying it in Pro Am-Pro at Top Gun. A Frank Tiano original design, this 116-pound warbird is powered by a ZDZ 420 gas engine and has Sierra gear. The 143-in-span plane looks HUGE on the flightline and looks fantastic in the air; it’s hard to believe it’s “just” 1/3.3-scale! Brian is at the far right of the photo in his orange Futaba shirt; in center (also in orange!) is Futaba team manager Frank Noll.
