Recognition at the Warbirds over Delaware

It goes without saying that a huge event like the WOD giant scale warbird fly in takes a lot of work. Contest Directors Pete and Dave Malcione have been tirelessly driving the WOD event and making it the event is is today. Working with the gang from the Delaware RC Club, the warbird event has enjoyed unrivaled success for many years.

At this year’s event both the Delaware RC Club and the Local IMAA district organization awarded Pete and Dave some beautiful awards for thier continuing hard work. For the first time in a long while, these two event spark plugs were taken aback and were quick to share the success of the event with the many helpers and the loyal regulars that come and enjoy the event at Lums Pond State Park.

Congratulations to the two Dave and Pete. You’ve done a great job.
