SKS Video Productions has just released their professional coverage of the 2012 Extreme Flight Championships, held at the Academy of Model Aeronautics headquarters in Muncie, Indiana, from 15-17 June. If you are into flying helicopters way beyond 3D, and deep into the Extreme, then this is the MUST SEE event of the season. This year’s event hosted helicopter pilots from around the globe, include Canada, Puerto Rico, Thailand and of course coast-to-coast representation from our pilots as well. This DVD focuses on the freestyle competition, and some of this year’s outstanding helicopter pilots include: Jamie Robertson, Bobby Watts, Nick Maxwell, Colin Bell, Kyle Stacy, Jesse Kavros and Kyle Dahl. I like to watch the overall performance of each pilot, and then play back the interesting maneuvers at 1/15 speed to see just how they perform those almost impossible maneuvers. This is the best way I can think of to improve my flying since I don’t have an expert here to help me. Total Running Time: approx. 85 min, and in Blu-ray 115 Min.
