Candid Moments from Warbirds over Delaware – 150 unpublished photos

Aug 10, 2012 2 Comments by

We just laid out our Warbirds over Delaware article for the November 2012 issue of MAN. So many great photos were taken and just a few could be used in our great 5 page layout. Here’s a gallery of un-used but still very cool and exciting photos shot by Gerry Yarrish and his assistant Rebecca Yarrish from the WOD flightline at Lums Pond State Park!

The Photo Gallery contains many never before seen photos from this the greatest Warbird event on the east coast!

Mike Gross Sr.’s “Marines” F4U Corsair waiting on deck for another sortie.

Adam Lilly’s P-40 locked and loaded and ready for another low-level strafing run!

    Very cool!

This year was my first year at W.O.D. and it certainly won’t be my last. I was there as a caller / spectator but next year I will be flying my G.S. P-51 { maybe with Stuka Berry}. You guys could print a whole magazine on the happenings there.
