First Test Flight! Blade 350QX quadcopter

Dec 03, 2013 No Comments by

We finally had a break in the cloudy weather so we end off to the local flying field. We test flew a couple of models including the 350QX Quadcopter from Blade. This big impressive multi-rotor is designed to carry a GoPro Hero video camera and comes with a lightweight attachment bracket for the GoPro Hero3. It also fits the original Low Def. GoPro but the HD cameras produce much better video.

The 350QX has several modes and even a “Return to Home” feature. Max altitude is about 130 feet (in Smart Mode) and it is amazingly stable because of its GPS tracking ability. You can fly in Smart mode, Stable mode and Agility mode. Watch for an upcoming review in MAN soon!
