MAN at the AMA Expo

Jan 13, 2014 2 Comments by

This past weekend some of  the Model Airplane News crew was lucky enough to attend the AMA expo in Ontario, California. The AMA show is typically the first RC show of the year and it starts the show season off for all of those who are in the model industry. We had a great time visiting many of our advertising partners and we’re lucky enough to capture some images of their latest products.  Enjoy the slide show.

About the author

West Coast senior editor About me: I’ve been involved with RC aircraft since high school and have flown just about everything. I started my RC career with scratch-building, but now like many pilots I rely on ARFs to get me in the air. My main focus is on pylon racing, aerobats, combat and scale warbirds.

Thank you John for sharing the photos. Hope to see more in depth coverage.

My dad & I visited the show. One of the best!! Something I did notice with a few exhibits (Hi-Tec and Horizon Hobbies come to mind) was the lack of products for purchase. Seems to me this is a good opportunity for them to sell their items and increase their client base. Some thing happened at the RCX show with HobbyKing. Huge exhibit but no items to purchase other than a few computers for ordering (most did not work).
