Composite-ARF F4U Corsair Review – Model Airplane News

Aug 12, 2011 1 Comment by

From the December 2011 issue of Model Airplane News, this Flight Report is by Dave Malcione and his brother Pete and his son, Dave Jr.

What makes this amazing warbird unique is its hydrolic folding wing mechanism and the fine attention to detail. Check out this video that shows the review Corsair at Warbirds over Delaware and some flight footage shot of the prototype Composite-ARF Corsair

  1. Gerry Yarrish says:

Editors note: Two Composte-ARF Corsairs were built by Dave, his brother Pete and son Dave Jr. This was in the memory of Carl Cantera who had purchased the kits and was the driving force making ”Warbirds Over Delaware” the largest Giant Scale RC Warbirds in the country. Team Malcione fly the pair of Corsairs together in his honor at several RC fly in across the country.
