Precision Aerobatics has broken all of the rules…again. The new Extra 260 is the third design from PA featuring the revolutionary Fiber Fusion building technique. Fiber Fusion is a method of combining carbon fiber, balsa and ply in a way never seen before utilizing the strengths of the fibers within each raw material. The end result is a lighter, stronger, more rigid aircraft. This model is unlike any other in the category and sports many unique and advanced features: Available in three striking colors and sporting a fully air foiled tail section and two-piece removable wings with carbon fiber everywhere makes the model extremely strong. The Kevlar pull pull rudder system if fully assembled at the factory and the aileron design and construction in this model is exceptional and is made in such a way that the hinge gap is completely sealed. This is quite complex to produce as the ailerons fit into the wing trailing edge tunnels and are glued and aligned in the factory much like a giant-scale plane. The production of the ailerons in this way allows perfect aerodynamic flow over the airfoil and results in maximum efficiency of the control surfaces, and light weight and large wing area makes a power-to-weight ratio using the suggested Torque 2818/900 motor that’s second to none!/P>
