Flying the “Pilot Maker” AT-6 Texan from Hobby King — With New Video

Perhaps the best know advanced trainer from WW2 the North American AT-6 Texan was used throughout WW2 and into the 1950s to give early cadets their first taste of a high performance aircraft. The new Texan from Hobby King is molded from durable EPO foam and has detailed molded right in. Reviewed in the December 2013 issue of MAN, this plane is one of the nicest, well behaved warbirds we’ve tested to date.

It comes with everything you need to fly except for a receiver and a flight battery pack. The Texan has excellent flight characteristics and lands nicely with functional 3-section flaps. It comes with retractable landing gear already installed and with a scale engine sound module for realistic radial engine sound.
