I suppose I am spoiled as I live on 20 acres and have my own flying field. I do my best to keep planes ready to fly and the other day I looked up and saw my trusty eFlite Alpha 450. I grabbed a couple of batteries and walked to the runway. It had been a few days since I last flew and I thought I would be rusty, but I was fine. Overall, it was just a fun time doing touch and goes and some aerobatics. I guess somethings you never forget, but I did get some practice in on my landings. I had a calm evening so I was able to do landing to both ends of the runway. I have always been more comfortable flying a left hand pattern but I seem to be getting and more comfortable with right hand patterns.
It was just fun to get out and fly. The Alpha can handle a large range of batteries, so when you shove in a 3200 mAh pack you can fly for a long time. Go flying!
