Well, the pieces are all coming together and we just received the beautiful awards for our upcoming Big Biplane Bash event. Set for September 24, this event promises to be our best yet. Hosted by the Central Connecticut RC Club, this is an all biplane and triplane event for RC models of all shapes, types and sizes. All are welcome. Model Airplane News stepped up and sponsored the event and provided these amazing looking award plaques. Each one is laminated with a vintage magazine cover and the brightwork on the bottom looks amazing.
This year there will be best of class awards for:
Best Military
Best Civilian
Best Aerobatic
Best Electric
Best Sport (non-scale)
and… the Best in Show award.
Many other awards will be given out for special achievement but these are the Gold, all the talented biplane pilots will be looking for.
