Workshop Tips — Working with Laminated Parts

Workshop Tips — Working with Laminated Parts

So, last night I finished the center cutout bow for the Camel’s top wing. In all, it took about 48 hours for the laminated balsa strips to fully dry and lock into a ridged lamination. Here’s how I incorporated the new formed part into the Sopwith’s wing structure. Last time, we left off with the […]

Incredible 40%-Scale Eindecker

Incredible 40%-Scale Eindecker

Sleek, sophisticated WW II fighters usually get more props than earlier era warbirds, but this 40-percent-scale Fokker E.1 may change your mind. Workshop Build-Along Alien Aircraft ArrowMaster Bipe 5 — Fuselage

One of the nice things about building a kit, is that you can make changes to the construction to suit your own tastes. Soldering Made Easy — Dealing with Printed Circuits

Soldering things together takes all forms and sizes relative to our RC hobby. 7-Engine Russian Bomber

If you like flying really big, unique aircraft, then this 16-foot-span Kalinin K-7 might be just what you’re looking for! With a wingspan close to that of a B-52, only one full-size K-7 was ever built, and it crashed after seven flights due to a tail boom structural failure, so it’s doubtful you’ll run into another RC version […]
