Hawker Hurricane

Hawker Hurricane: Based on an aircraft flown in North Africa, this 70-inch-span warbird has flaps, Unitracts air retracts and a sliding canopy, and Henry writes that he spend a year building it from Brian Taylor plans and a short kit from Bob Holman Plans.  The 11.1-pound model has an enlarged air intake to cover the cylinder head of its O.S. .81 4-stroke engine.  Henry notes that all of the control horns are enclosed except for the one on the rudder.
