Model Airplane News - RC Airplane News | Pilot Projects: Mach 1 [March 2012]

Mach 1: Built from Model Airplane News plans (FSP067330) published in 1973, this pattern ship has foam wings and a stabilizer covered with balsa and finished with epoxy. A Thunder Tiger .60 engine provides more than enough power. Ken writes, “The original plane was designed by Norm Page, a well-known pattern pilot, and the design was later kitted by Midwest Models.”

Ken Vanden Bosch – Battle Creek, MI
