Precision Cut Kits Giles 202 & 300

Model Airplane News - RC Airplane News | Precision Cut Kits Giles 202 & 300

PCK continues to expand its line of build it yourself aerobatic aircraft with the release of the 87″ Giles 202 & 300.  This all balsa and ply beauty is fully aerobatic limited only by the pilot’s expertise.  The prototype model was flown with a Brison 4.2 turning a 24/10 prop.  The prototype weighed 19.5 lbs and had unlimited vertical.  The redesigning of some parts should provide a finished model weighing 17 to 19 pounds.  Engine recommendations range from a G-62 to a 4.8 and most twin cylinder engines will fit into the cowl.  Construction follows standard building procedures, but it should be noted this model is not intended for the novice or beginner.  Wood kits, cowls, canopies, and landing gear are available directly from Precision Cut Kits. Kits and parts may be purchased separately or as a “package”.  PCK will also be releasing an Edge 540 and an Edge 540T in the near future. Please visit our web site for more information.
