Horizon Hobby, Inc. is delighted to announce that renowned radio control aircraft designer and champion flyer Quique Somenzini will be joining product development team.
The originator of groundbreaking models such as the Python and Yak-54 series, Quique has often been called “The Godfather of 3-D Flight” and will now add his experience, imagination, and expertise to Horizon, helping create breakthrough products for a variety of our brands. “Our design and engineering team is focused on, and noted for, innovation and leading edge technology,” said Eric Bartsch, (Vice President, Product Division.) “We think Quique is a perfect fit and we’re excited about what he’ll bring to our product development.”
Currently the F3A World Champion, Quique’s accomplishments as a model designer and world-class competition flyer are legendary. And, as a member of Team JR since moving to the United States from Argentina in 2002, he has also shared his love for radio control flying with thousands and been an outstanding ambassador for the hobby both here in the US and internationally.
