Raptor 90 G4 Review

Raptor 90 G4 Review

Several years ago I reviewed the Raptor 90 3D for this magazine, and now the Raptor legend continues with the new and ever improved Raptor 90 G4.  Experience is a great teacher, and a great example of this is the Raptor line of helicopters, which uses their previous designs to continually improve their line of helicopters for more years than I care to remember. The new Raptor 30 V2 Pro, Raptor Titan X50 and now the Raptor 90 G4 are the latest in a long line of “experienced” helicopters that have improved throughout the years to establish a standard of quality and performance for fliers of all levels.

Here are just a few of the many features of this new 90 size nitro helicopter. Available in either nitro or electric, with a flybar or flybarless rotor head. A pitch range of +/- 15 degrees. Carbon main frames, 15 mm hardened main shaft, helical gears for greater strength and surface area, painted canopy, new design metal fan and a quick calibration system for fast and accurate setup. As you can see in the photo, many of the parts are cnc machined aluminum and come well protected in their rubber packing.

I’ll let you know how the build and test flights are going, and I would also like to hear from any of you who are already flying this new Raptor so we can compare notes.
