RCX is almost here, and I can hardly wait! Held June 1 and 2 at the Long Beach convention center, RCX is unlike any typical RC show you’ve ever attended … it’s full of action, fun and excitement! This year, I have promised myself that I will find some time to get my photo taken in the single-seat heli that’s on the show floor and sign up for the Rotor FX helicopter flight simulator time! Doesn’t this sound like fun? (Too bad I’m not eligible for the free helicopter flight lesson and aerial tour for two!)
“Hop in a single seat Mosquito personal helicopter for and have your picture taken. Rotor FX will also be bringing are a self contained FAA certified helicopter flight simulator that will be available for rental by the show patrons. It is a full two place helicopter cockpit with all features and dual controls,where an instructor will be able to give each person a short display or lesson and get them flying in the simulator. The simulator can replicate the Robonson R22 or R44 both for VFR or IFR, the MD500, Enstrom 280, Bell 206 Jet Ranger, OH-58 and Eurocopter AS-350 “A-Star” Rotor FX will also be presenting information on our flight training and aerial tours and will be offering a free drawing for a helicopter flight lesson and an aerial tour for two.”
