Here’s a plane you don’t see every day! Jim Suchy is flying his own-design 1/4.5-scale Gotha G-IV in Pro-Am Sport. The 192-inch-span bipe is powered by two Zenoah G-38 engines turning 20×8 props and weighs in at 52 pounds. Look for flight video of this awesome bomber soon! The Gotha won the Best Biplane award.

    I had absolutely NO IDEA that anyone could build, let alone fly a 16 foot wingspan Gotha G-IV just blows me away. I only discovered your picture yesterday but have no idea WHERE you and your Gotha are located. Are you in England, USA, Germany, or Europe? I’m not an RC modeler, but a small scale plastic modeler. Nevertheless, your skills are WAAAAAY out of my league and I’m in awe of what you and your fellow RCers have done. My best wishes.
