Video: Electric 11-foot C-130

Video: Electric 11-foot C-130

Evangelos Paschaloudis of Thessaloniki Greece spent nine years (over 1000 hours!) building this RC model of a U.S. Coast Guard C-130 from Palmer plans. The 11-foot-span electric model uses four 5S 5000mAh batteries for 18-minute flights!  Thanks to YouTube’s Sallas4U for taking this great video of the model flying from the Polykastro airfield and sharing it with us.

  5. Beautiful! A work of love. I was happy to see that you switched to electric power. Scale props would be a big kicker.

  6. Beautiful airplane, but the video left a lot to be desired. It switched from scene to scene so quickly, especially in the opening still shots, that it was almost impossible to follow. Slow down with the editing. This seems to be a problem with so many videos made these days – not just this one.

  7. Si eu quiser comprar um kit desse, Hercules C-130, como faço para importar pro Brasil e pagar. Obrigado

  10. WOW! Beautiful! Uncle Sam flew me to Roosevelt Rhodes, Puerto Rico, from Port Canaveral, Fla. in 1968, aboard a C-130. It’s a nice airplane.
