The L-39 has always been fast, but Flyzone has made it even faster. Flyzone engineers used advanced methods to optimize the L-39’s ducting. That means cleaner airflow. Combine that with the L-39’s ability to handle 4S LiPo power, and takeoffs become stronger and top speeds climb to 90+ mph (145 km/h). Another reason for the improved performance: the L-39 comes with a quality brushless power system already installed. It includes everything you see below plus four micro servos.

  • 56 mm HyperFlow ducted fan unit
  • 35A ESC
  • ElectriFly Ammo brushless inrunner motor

That makes for faster, easier assembly. So does the fact that the L-39 is molded from feather-light, leather-tough and factory-finished Aerocell foam. There’s one more advantage, too: since the L-39 is an Rx-R (Receiver-Ready) model, you retain the freedom to use any radio, battery and charger you want.

In short, true jet performance is built-in…and so is authentic jet style. The lines and look are true-to-form and the realism is top notch. Look in the cockpit, and you’ll see two painted pilot busts and two instrument panels. Wing feature torpedo-shaped tip tanks. They add looks in flight, but separate in a crash to help minimize damage. Like the cockpit and fan shroud, they’re magnetically attached to hold strong, but release cleanly. If you have a need for speed that won’t be denied, meet it fast, with the Flyzone L-39.
