If you are referring to the aluminum morphed P-38 the answer is yes,, It took 3 years and 1500 hours to get the Ziroli designed lightning ready for WRAM. I’m very happy you like it.

Having attended WRAM shows for the past couple of decades, I’ve noticed the quality of the show declining in recent years. I’ve gotten particularly interested in jet turbines and eagerly went to the show hoping to get some first hand info about them, but alas, not even one on display. Plenty of toy helicopters though. The number of exhibitors at the show was the smallest I had ever witnessed and the same could be said about the size of the crowd that I saw on Saturday. To add to the chagrin that I already experienced at the show, when I went down stairs to see the other exhibits, the doors were closed and locked and nobody around. Going upstairs where the static display is usually held yielded the same results. I am frankly shocked to see pictures in here of models on display that I was unable to see. Sad to say that this venue has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. Sorry that I cannot add to the accolades that others are giving this show, but when I compare this to the shows I’ve attended in the past, I have to give this one some major thumbs down.

If you tried to enter the static room @3:00/later on saturday they do the static judging then. But sorry to hear of your experience through out the rest of the event..

we all have to be supportive of all hobby trade shows. you can ignore that the economy hurt a lot of small hobby business forcing many to close up shop. If we ignore the few trade shows left, (remember the ones in PA and Maryland?) they will go away. This year’s WRAM show was a bit better than last year and the year before. Will be a while before it is back like it was 5 or 6 years ago.
