Starting with a kit from Marijn Pennix of Scale-jet Graeme’s new T-33 is 1:4.5 scale, has a wing span 110 inches, 101 inch long and weighs 46 pounds. Kit from www.scale-jets.com. To improve on the basics Graeme went over all the surface detail that comes out of the mold and do a ‘Mears treatment’. This means all the panel lines screw heads and rivet details (all of them were cleaned up,) improved awith special tools. Things like aircraft antenna and countless cockpit details were resin cased and added to the airframe. It is powered with a JetCat P180 turbine and the radio gear is a JR 12X and receiver spectrum 12X powerbox.

The paint scheme is from a full scale T-33 in Colorado, and the paint is a Standox basecoat/clearcoat system.  The entire paint scheme is painted on with the use of vinyl paint masks Graeme cut out wi th his Roland cutter. This year Graeme is ‘Teamed up’ with Ali Michinchy from the UK as pilot.
