6 WW II planes assembled in 6 minutes–amazing video!

If you haven’t yet seen this video of six WW II planes being assembled and hung at The National WWII Museum’s US Freedom Pavilion in New Orleans, you won’t want to miss this! The mesmerizing 6-minute clip features a North American B-25 Mitchell, a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, a General Motors TBM Avenger, a Chance Vought F4U Corsair, a Douglas SBD Dauntless and a North American Aviation P-51 Mustang.

  2. That was a great video.. amazing that they can hang all of those from one structure.. There’s a good reason to visit New Orleans, it would make a good club trip and alot of joy for modlers..They look like perfect displays.. Do we know how long it took the crews to assemble those for display in real time? Thanks for the post..

  3. would be nice to see the rest of that reasmembly of the b-25 and others!

  4. I am glad to see these ladies of the skies being given a proper resting place instead of rotting away in an aircraft boneyard (where no one can see them). These ladies and their brave and selfless crews are owed a debt of gratitude that I can never repay. I just hope we are worth all their sacrifices. History such as this belongs in the public eye and not hidden away in a history book which will cause us to either forget or diminish what happened. I, for one, will put visiting this museum on my bucket list!

  5. Terrific video, thanks for sharing! Will have to make a trip to NO.
