Bruce Fischer of Iowa City, Iowa, writes, “Included here are photos of the ’89 Swoose, plan FSP10892. I built it last winter. The plane is powered by a Magnum .53. It was flown at a June 2007 float fly event hosted by the Iowa City, Iowa, Aerohawks. I originally had some trouble with the engine overheating. Upon removing cowling over the head of the engine, sufficient breeze was able to carry away excess heat, and the plane flew very well. It was a great joy to watch this aesthetic form wing its way around the lake.”
