I think that its nice that your are havine the sweepstakes so that rc flyers that can’t afford much have a chance to win something nice.
Good Deal !! 🙂
I think your models are great . Your E-flight line is superb . thanks for all the hard work .
Service at Horizon Hobby solved my problem with my Beast. The servo reverser was all that was needed to get me back into the air. Great Team, and a Great Product from Horizon Hobby
First question is ambiguous
You’re right, but it’s only asking if you either have a sub or if you pick the issue up on the newsstand.
Rules don’t state date of drawing!
On or about January 11, 2012. Good luck!
MS Debra Cleghorn,
On August 30 1940(my 12th Bifthday, I recieved a gift subscriotion to MAN from my grandmother! In the country I mever had seen a model airplane.
I eventually learned and slowly learned to fly. First free flight.By the time I was 15 I won 1st in C gas at the Crossville, TN AMA Contest. By 17, I won a first in B speed at the Chatanooga, TN AMA Contest. Joining the Navy,I went to Pensacola, FL for PreFlight and the to Whiting Field for primary in the SNJ-5 for my first SOLO! Finishing Flight Training in only one year!
Commisioned in the Marine Corps as a 2nd LT. Flying F9fF,F2H,FJ-4,F8U,F4H and other non-jet, I retired after 20 years. Perhaps the start was MAN?
Matthew B. Peck
Wow! Thanks for sharing your aviation history – nice to know that our magazine helped put you on a path to success!
Love the Bind and fly system. Can always use more.
This contest is a great thing !!!!
A very nice thing your doing.
Thank You for having a contest, for all people, rich/poor to enjoy!.

Horizon You Are Awsome!!
A sweepstakes that offers such awesome prizes gives a person the chance to win something amazing! Thank you to Model Airplane News and all that had a doing in putting this together!
I think that international subscribers should be eligible to enter the sweepstakes.
We would love to be able to include our international readers, but unfortunately our legal department has limited it to U.S. residents.
I cant ever get the form to work any help would be a help. I have tried to enter alot of these sweepstakes and never get past the form problems. Thanks for making a great magazine for us new flyers.
As a modeler all my life (long life) I’d love to win something, just once….
Thanks for a fine magazine…I have been reading MAN and bulding planes from it since the middle 30’s…no kidding..
Nice sweepstakes from the Horizon Hobby peaple. They are always on top,or ahead of the game!
I’m still thinking about your Spectrum 7 system
Horizon Hobby is by far the “BEST”
Horizon Hobbies has outstanding products, especially tech support staff which are rarely needed.
I have been a model builder almost as long as MAN HAS BEEN IN PRINT!!! i STARTED IN 1938, AND HAD A BRIEF PAUSE DURING THE EARLY 40’S,WHILE i TOOK A EUROPEAN TRIP THANKS TO UNCLE SAM
I SPECIALIZE IN DETAILING EVERYTHING I CAN GET INTO THE AIR–BUT TRUTHFULLY, SOME OF THEM ONLY MAKE ONE OR TWO FANTASTIC FLIGHTS, AND EVEN MORE A FANTISTICALONE POINT RETURN TO THE HARD GROUND–BUT I STILL LOVE TO BUILD, AND SOME DAY LEARN TO FLY LIKE THE OTHER EXPERTS.
THANKS FOR A FANTASTIC MAN, AND I NOW GOT INTO THE YOUNGER GROUP–ELECTRIC–IT DOESN’T HURT AS MUCH BY ONE OF THOSE QUICK ONE SPOT LANDINGS
Long time reader.
Thank for a chance.
Never know when lady luck will come your way…
Am a mil aviator addicted to airplanes and the hobby.Great magazine.though copies are hard to get where I live .never miss out whenever available. GR8 job

GREAT CONTEST-SOLID VIBES ON WINNING
I haver been using JR radios and Spektrum radios for at lesst 15 years and always have been satisfied with them.
Good luck to all that enter !!!
Thanks for the contest. I’ve been a modeler for many years and appreciate the quality of Horizon Hobby products and the valuable information from MAN. Thanks again for the chance to win a nice looking plane.
I have been looking at the dx8 for a while now. To win one would reaal awsome. The other planes would be great too.
It’s a great magazine. I’ve been flying for 5 years now, and slowly getting better.
Great Sweepstakes. Horizon Hobby is the Best
Horizon Hobby is always a pleasure to deal with.
JR Radios have been my only radios and now
MAN is at the top of what I look forward to
Thanks for all the great deals.
this would get me into electrics
I recommend Horizon Hobby and Spectrum over Futaba because the customer service is much better. I lost 3 airplanes because of a bad Futaba 6EX transmitter and if not for the fact I had a second transmitter, I would never have figured it out. They finally replaced the transmitter after “repairing” the bad one, and I lost another plane.. But would not replace even one plane. They did not even offer a new receiver for my troubles.(haven’t lost any planes since the new transmitter, so it was not me) Horizon will sometimes replace a plane if they admit the transmitter is bad. Not Futaba… I now have two Spectrum transmitters and ten or more receievers,,, will never buy another stinking Futaba.. Keep up the good work Horizon Hobby and Spektrum ,,!!!! FUTABA STINKS!!
WOW!!! All the models PLUS an “8 TRACK PLAYER”
2.4 millyameter radio!!!
ISMUS be my lucky day!
Model Airplane News has done so much to bring this
hobby to the general public and to the R/C modeler over
the years!!! No wonder they are NUMBER ONE!!!
Love the contest and the chance to win some very nice RC merchandice. My Horizon Hobbies products are the greatest.
Love my Horizon products. Very excited about the contest.
PLEASE SANTA! How I would love to wake up and find that present under my tree. Talk about feeling like a Kid again!
This is truly awsome!
