The IRCHA registration area was busy all day long coordinating activities and answering questions.

I think I saw a helicopter in straight and level flight for a few seconds, but otherwise they were in some twisted position just above the ground.
Chris Bergen had his 6 motor hover craft all lit up for night flying. This is a great platform for photography because it is almost vibration free, steady and capable of carrying a good size payload.
Some of the pilots just couldn’t get in enough flying no matter how late in the day. It was getting to be so dark I could hardly see the helicopter nevertheless determine its orientation.
