As we pack up to head to the US Air Meet sponsored by Horizon Hobby and hosted at the Seacoast Regional Airport in Sanford, ME., we getting excited to see all the great RC and full-size airshow planes. One of our good friends who’ll be at the airshow, pilots both RC and full-size aerobatic planes and is named Matt Chapman. Matt is a National and World Aerobatics Champion and his bright yellow CAP 580 is well recognized. For our Question of the Week, we want to ask you all, “Who’s your all time favorite Aerobatic pilot? Full-size or RC, tell us who you think is the Best… Sean Tucker, Skip Stewart, Bob Hoover, Jimmy Franklyn, or someone else, let us know who’s your favorite full-scale aerobatic pilot.

  1. I like Dan Marcotte!

  2. Jimmy Franklyn, and Bobby Younkin

  3. Sean D. Tucker Yeah Baby!

  4. Skip Stewart is my pick at the current time.

  5. Sean Tucker definitely gets “coolest plane that can do the most stuff” award…. The caps tumble so prettily though that I’m going to go with Chapman as he combines some crazy aerobatics with really smooth flying… very impressive to watch.

  6. Real flying: Karl “Charly” Zimmermann. What he did with the BO-105 Heli is awesome and very nice to watch.

Model Plane: Wolfgang Matt. I´ve never seen a pilot like him, very smooth and fun to watch. And he´s a very friendly man.

  7. Svetlana Kapanini

  8. Currently flying at airshows–Rob Holland
    Past performer -Bob Hoover

  9. Bob Hoover, with his twin engine aircraft

  10. Past: Art Scholl
Current: toss-up between Skip Stewart or Sean D. Tucker
