Oshkosh: Aviation’s “Wild Kingdom”

This impressive video of the last week’s EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin looks at the legendary airshow from the perspective of a nature documentary. If you like airplanes, I promise that this clip will make your day! Thank you to Aero-TV for producing and posting this gem.

  1. great to see I was at Oshkosh this year and saw them making this vido. This is very well done.

  2. There is nothing like the EAA fly-in. Every plane enthusiast should try to see it at least once. The other place to see is the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

  3. 17 Years since we were there, in a big chartered red Jumbo jet. Memories still vivid Sean Tucker flying like a Harrier … Still on my bucket list!!!

  4. Debra, is it possible to purchus a CD of the 2012 Oshkosh fly-in for this year? I would like to see some of the types of planes and the shows that were presented this year. Please hook me up so I can enjoy some of the planes that you were able to see personally. Thanks for and help you may give.

  5. A CD is available at http://www.shopeaa.com or 800-564-6322.
I went this year and the night airshow was SO IMPRESSIVE, although it is all almost overwhelming. If you go, plan on several days from 6am until midnight, with bands, movies, airshows, displays, and oh yeah-airplanes.
