The full size Yakovlev Yak-52 is a Soviet primary trainer aircraft which first flew in 1976 and is still being produced in Romania by Aerostar. The Yak-52 was designed originally as an aerobatic trainer for students in the Soviet Union, but is now highly sort after by aerobatic pilots across the globe.

Avios brings you a beautiful 1200mm RC flying scale model of one of the most iconic Yaks on the air show scene. A brilliant no-glue required design arrives with all electronics pre-installed, just needing a battery and radio system to complete. The stunning colors of the HobbyKing Yak means this model is sure to please both in the air and on the ground.

The all EPO molded foam replica features scale frise ailerons, split flaps, full metal retracts and a stunning scale paddle blade propeller. With quality being most important to the design team at Avios, each model is individually checked at the factory to make sure it meets stringent quality standards. The Avios 1200mm Yak 52 is no exception. Since it is a plug and fly model, most of the hard work has been done for you. The whole model can be assembled and flight ready in about an hour.
