It was a spectacular show of scale building and piloting and a wonderful time to see friends and make new ones. A new friend Gerry and I have talked to over email and finally met this weekend is Alex Samour, who took this photo of me, Nick Ziroli and Yvonne DeFrancesco, our publisher. Do I look like I’m having fun or what? It’s blazing hot and I’m dog-tired at the end of a busy day but I’m definitely having fun!
It was great to finally meet Alex in person, along with so many neat people that we’ll be talking about in future blogs and in our print article. Speaking of which, I’d better get back to work … as much as I try, the magazine just won’t write itself.
