O.S. 4-CYLINDER 4-STROKE

Hot news from Engine Clinic columnist Clarence Lee: we've just received word that O.S. has a new 3ci, 4-cylinder, inline 4-stroke engine under development: the IL-300. Three prototypes have been built and the engine is scheduled for release in July 06, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of O.S. Engines. Specs include a 25.8mm bore, 24mm stroke and 50.2cc displacement (.306.2ci). Not exactly a lightweight, the engine weighs a tad over 5 pounds and swings props in the 18x8 to 20x10 range.
